One of the world leading travel organisations is currently looking to recruit an Applications Support Analyst. This role is responsible for 2nd level support of 3rd party software applications through liaison with internal and external 3rd level support units. In this role you will be responsible for receiving calls from the helpdesk and subsequent liaison with end users to fully understand the nature of the problem. Resolving problems, managing solutions through to completion ad well as technical*non-technical fixing. In addition you will be responsible for the analysis of software changes, liaison with application vendor for feasibility, time-scales and costs, creating project and implementation plans, management of software upgrades and training end users in the use of their software applications. To apply for this role YOU MUST HAVE: Good knowledge and experience of a wide variety of business software applications have 2 years technical knowledge in a 1st*2nd line support, technical knowledge of software applications as well as understanding the project life cycle.
